Did you have fun over the weekend?
Did you manage to grab some extra sleep, smell the roses or have a solo popcorn & movie night?
I did all 3 and felt fantastic :D
& remember, you don't have to leave these things just for the weekend weave them in throughout your week to break up the monotony of the wake-work-eat-sleep cycle many of us get sucked into.
So, this week on MHMonday I'm gonna go into something which took me quite a long time to grasp.
Not because it's a hard concept, but because I didn't truly believe it.
The past few weeks though have absolutely proven to me that 'your outer world truly does reflect your inner world'.
But what do I mean by that?
Well, it comes back to those good ole' emotions ...
If you are feeling rubbish then chances are you will be experiencing a lot (& if my 2017 was anything to go by I mean a heck of a lot) of negative things in your real life.
& just so you know, pretending that you feel great & carrying on regardless does not trick you, your brain or the universe!
If however, on the flip side, you are feeling pretty darn great then all these amazing things start to happen.
Here's a few of the things that have happened to me in the last 4 weeks (& some of them really are bonkers!)
The last 4 weeks have genuinely been so random.
I've mentioned something that I would like to have or could do with fixing. Forgotten about it and focused purely on doing my thang at work & on the yoga mat.
Anytime I've felt a little stressed out, overwhelmed or emotionally wobbly I've stepped away from the PC and spent the time needed to get my head back in the game.
Whether it was a case of slathering on a few oils and a quick 5 minute Tai Chi session (thanks YouTube), or binge-watching Harrow with a bar of Galaxy & a glass of Prosecco.
I have never before been so focused on feeling good before doing anything.
I won't write a blog post, record a video or even open my emails unless I am feeling a good ole' 8 out of 10 on the 'how amazing do you feel' scale.
WARNING - You Can Not Trick Your Brain or The Universe!
If you are doing the old 'pretending to feel good' and you've got negative rubbish on repeat inside your head you'll still see negative stuff in your real world.
So what does this look like?
Here's the most common ways to tell if you've got a negative broke record playing -

Obviously, none of this happens until week 8 - when they've cleared out a lot of their negative clutter and are making a daily consious effort to feel good.
